SKIN AND BODY REJUVINATION

IPL SKIN REJUVENATION

OUR TREATMENTS

IPL photofacial skin treatment - NÜSKN pigmentation correction

IPL rejuvenation treats discoloration and other signs of premature aging without surgery or downtime. Intense pulsed light is used selectively to target pigmented and vascular lesions resulting in a noticeably clearer, brighter skin with a more even complexion. It also enhances collagen production to reduce skin laxity, erases fine lines and fades the appearance of wrinkles.

What Happens

  • Reduce fine lines

  • Reduce wrinkles

  • Reduce sun damage, freckles and brown spots

  • Shrink visible veins

  • Correct discolouration

Treatment Cycle

Most patients receive 4-6 treatments, with each session lasting approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The exact number of sessions you’ll need always depends on the individual and the area being treated. Sessions are usually performed 4-6 weeks apart. We advise no spray tan to be worn 2 weeks prior to your IPL rejuvenation treatment.

Please note that this treatment requires an initial test patch with a NUSKN nurse or dermal therapist prior to booking. This is to ensure adequate consultation and skin preparation time for best results.

FAQ’S

Gentle skin resurfacing peel treatment at NÜSKN for glowing skin
  • IPL can help improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation, minimise redness, and promote collagen production, which may result in a smoother and more youthful complexion.

  • IPL targets excess melanin in the skin using light pulses, which helps to break down pigmented areas. Over time, these areas fade, promoting a more even skin tone.

  • IPL light targets and heats the blood vessels causing redness, reducing their visibility and promoting clearer skin.

  • There is minimal downtime. Mild redness or swelling may occur, which usually subsides within a few hours. You can resume most activities shortly after the treatment.

  • Results may become visible after the first treatment, but optimal outcomes usually occur after multiple sessions. The effects can last for several months with proper skincare and sun protection.

  • IPL is not recommended during pregnancy due to a lack of sufficient research on its effects. It is advised to wait until after pregnancy to undergo this treatment.

  • IPL is not suitable for individuals with darker skin tones, certain medical conditions, including active skin infections, severe rosacea, or those on photosensitive medications. A consultation will determine your suitability for the treatment.

  • For the best treatment results, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and products with retinoids or acids for at least two weeks prior. Book a consultation with our team for personalised skin care advice.
